Pamly is provided by Asther Louie Cabardo, operating as ashcbrd (“we,” “us”). This policy explains information handled by the Pamly iPhone app and this website. Contact asthercabardo@gmail.com about privacy or your rights.
1. The information you put in Pamly
Pamly stores tasks, their original wording, dates, reminders, routines, saved documents, drafts, and family profiles on your device. Profiles may contain names, photographs, birthdays, phone numbers, schools, and notes you choose to add. You do not need a separate Pamly account. We do not operate a server that receives this family content.
Only add information about other people when you have an appropriate right or permission to do so. Avoid adding information that is not needed for your planning.
2. Voice, photographs, and text recognition
Speech recognition and document text recognition run on your device. Pamly does not save voice recordings or send them to an external speech or AI service. Recognized words may be retained in saved tasks or recoverable drafts. Where supported, on-device Apple Intelligence helps interpret your words; otherwise built-in rules are used.
When you choose a family photograph, Pamly creates a smaller copy without the original location metadata. Camera, photo, and microphone access are used for the features you choose. You can change these permissions in iPhone Settings.
3. Local storage and Apple Calendar
Pamly saves tasks, family profiles, documents, routines, and checklists locally on your device. It does not provide cloud sync. Export a backup from Settings to keep a separate copy. Device backups you enable may also contain local app data.
If you connect Apple Calendar, Pamly reads the calendars you permit and can create or update calendar events for your dated plans. Calendar content remains subject to the settings of that calendar and its provider. Disconnecting Pamly does not necessarily remove events already created in Apple Calendar.
4. Purchases and RevenueCat
Apple processes App Store payments; we do not receive your full payment-card details. RevenueCat helps validate purchases, restore access, and understand purchase performance. It processes an automatically generated app user identifier, purchase records, entitlement status, and technical information such as app version, operating system, and network information.
We do not attach your tasks, family profiles, documents, or voice recordings to RevenueCat customer records. An app identifier is not the same as having no purchase-related data. See RevenueCat’s privacy information and Apple’s privacy policy for their services.
5. Sharing, notifications, and support
When you use Messages or a share sheet, you choose what to send and to whom. The chosen service handles the message. Recipients may keep their own copies. Task titles can appear in notifications and on your lock screen; control notification previews in iPhone Settings. Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets can show task titles and family names. Remove a widget or change your device settings if you do not want those details visible.
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you send, including attachments. We use it to respond to your questions or investigate the issue. Please avoid sending sensitive family information when it is not necessary. We retain correspondence only as needed for support, follow-up, security, and applicable legal obligations.
6. This website
This page uses no advertising pixels, analytics trackers, tracking cookies, or embedded third-party media. Its demonstrations run locally in your browser and do not request microphone or camera access. Fonts and images are served with the site. Our website hosting service may process routine request data such as IP address, browser information, and requested pages to deliver and secure it. Following an external link or sending an email involves the service you choose.
7. Why information is processed
We use information to provide the features you request, verify paid access, answer support requests, protect the service, and meet legal obligations. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, these purposes rely on performing our agreement with you, legitimate interests in reliable service and support, legal obligations, or your consent where required. You may withdraw a consent-based permission through device settings or by contacting us; that does not invalidate earlier lawful processing.
We do not sell your family content or use it for targeted advertising. We may disclose limited information we hold where legally required or necessary to protect rights and security. Apple, RevenueCat, hosting, and email services may process information in countries other than yours, subject to their applicable safeguards and terms.
8. Keeping and removing information
Local tasks and other saved content remain until you remove them. Completed tasks remain in History. Documents, drafts, and tasks made from a document are separate records; remove each if you want all their copies gone. Use Settings → Privacy & your data → Erase all data to remove app content. Apple Calendar events, exported backups, device backups, and copies shared with others may need separate removal.
Erasing Pamly does not remove a lifetime purchase or automatically erase Apple or RevenueCat purchase records. Those records may be retained for restoration, fraud prevention, accounting, and legal purposes. Contact us for requests concerning information handled on our behalf. We cannot access or recover device-only content for you.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; and complain to your local data-protection authority. Email us to exercise applicable rights. We may need limited information to verify a request. Some purchase or legal records may be exempt from deletion. You can also edit and delete content in the app, export a backup, and manage device permissions yourself.
10. Children, security, and changes
Pamly is intended for adults organizing family life, not as a service directed to children. Adults may choose to keep children’s details in local family profiles. If you believe a child has sent personal information directly to us without appropriate permission, contact us so we can address it.
We use the device’s storage protections and the security provided by our service providers. No device or online service can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep your device and Apple Account protected. We may update this policy as features or requirements change, update the date above, and provide additional notice when required.
